Rules

no-eslint-disable-comments

Use Oxlint suppression directives instead of ESLint directives.

Purpose and behavior

Use Oxlint suppression directives instead of ESLint directives.

Detects eslint-disable, eslint-disable-line and eslint-disable-next-line in line and block comments. The fix replaces the directive name, preserving its rule list and reason. Pair with require-disable-reason.

Options

No configurable options. Enable with "rules/no-eslint-disable-comments": "error".

Invalid example

// eslint-disable-next-line no-console
console.log(1)

Valid example

// oxlint-disable-next-line no-console -- boundary logging
console.log(1)

Fixes and exceptions

This rule supplies an automatic code fix. Review the resulting import bindings and runtime resolution before applying it.

For a genuine boundary exception, use an oxlint-disable-next-line rules/no-eslint-disable-comments -- reason comment. Examples illustrate this rule alone and may omit imports and declarations.

Source and tests

Enabled by the TypeScript preset.
